There's pretty much no city interactions. I know the artstyle and the way the game is setup, it's kinda the "style" but it doesn't really make the game very immersive. You talk to a person about to get murdered and they just stand there without reaction or physical embodiment of the situation. I once got locked out of repairing because of a mission and I had a fully damaged HOVA so I had to travel several thousand meters with the speed of a turtle. I don't fully like the hitpoints system. A faster HOVA or more useful upgrades woulda been cool? Like maybe temporary shield? It really made for some confusing plot points. Probably because they were part of side quests in the main game. When you play the DLC it's sometimes confusing that you meet people that talk to you like you know them but I never heard of them. And every time I had to wait like 10 seconds to be able to boost again.

Why did you remove the bump upgrade and limitless boosts from the DLC? It made me repair the car like every 10mins because one accidental crash made me loose half the hitpoints. They also just sometimes enter the highway and ram you.

You could be waiting in the street and make people bump into you until your HOVA is destroyed to the point of repair. Car paths: They're just mindless paths without any AI. Sometimes people also just want to experience different paths without needing to play the WHOLE game again.

I once chose an option I didn't want and I couldnt go back. Savepoints: Woulda been cool if there were savepoints you could go back to. I always set it to like 15% environment sounds and 85% music. Also it reset my audio options multiple times for some reason. Background sounds like footsteps, other car engines etc. They may be somewhat realistic but they have to be toned down or less annoying/repetitive (especially the ascending, descending sound). The sound your car/HOVA and others make are really really annoying. Sometimes a person "interrupts" someone but it just gets represented as someone abruptly pausing and then a 3 second wait till the other person who "interrupts" starts to talk. Sometimes they're still talking about something you've already reached so you have to wait for it to finish to continue. You get to choose different outcomes multiple times and imo the story is well thought out. The story is interesting and kept me at it. The characters look a bit wonky because of that but it kinda fits the scene and you get used to it.

Fitting tracks for fitting scenarios, I caught myself listening to the soundtrack in my free time which I don't often do. Sets the atmosphere for pretty much the whole game not gonna lie. It's just on the verge on grabbing you to pull you into the emotion. Although performance is more amateur-ish. Rarely a voice is annoying, most are soothing and comfortable to listen to. It really makes you feel like you're in a dystopian future with all the lights and house designs. Really taking the realistic vertical feeling of a Cyberpunk city. Each Layer representing a level of richness of people. I will point out before saying something with spoilers. I only did the main quests though and if you do the same expect to be faster because I chilled a bit. It took my roughly 10 hours to finish the base game and 8 hours to finish City of Ghosts.

I write this review for both people pondering if they wanna buy the game and also as Feedback to ION LANDS. So I played through both Cloudpunk and the DLC Cloudpunk City of Ghosts.
